What were the main themes of the book? Mystery, murder, finding out secrets

Did the plot pull you in or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book? I love a good whodunit mystery. This book pulled me in from the beginning. With a little paranormal thrown in, this book gave me everything I want in a mystery book.

Did the book end the way you expected? I knew the murderer would be caught, the mystery part was figuring out who committed the murder.
