Review: The Shadow of the Unicorn: The Legacy (The Shadow of the Unicorn, #1) by Suzanne de Montigny

The Shadow of the Unicorn: The Legacy (The Shadow of the Unicorn, #1)The Shadow of the Unicorn: The Legacy by Suzanne de Montigny
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Favourite scene … Beginning of Chapter 4 - How many of us humans would actually stand around looking at the sky as a giant fireball descended to earth. I am sure most of us would. We would not think to run for cover or anything. We would be in awe over something so beautiful.

“A giant fireball!” cried Azaria.

Content (overall theme, idea and setting) – I do not know where the author got her idea for this book, but it is a wonderful fantasy read for any middle grade child. It helps to explore new ideas and allows young readers a chance to grow and imagine new things. Oh yeah, everything was perfect.

Is the story plot or character driven? The story is character driven but the plot is strong.

Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author.
