I'm not always 100% sold when I see book cover that it not appealing or has flaws but this book really did surprise me. It was a good action-thriller that kept me entertained and guessing on what would happen next.

Mr. Ebbers, the author has a very interesting writing style, old school but grounded and realistic. This is a story about a pilot, his enemies and the innocent people who are dragged into an elaborate but memorable plot.

For me, it was the unexpected things that kept happening from the first till the last page. In some ways, it did feel as if Frank was jinxed. I also liked the complexity of the characters. The author consistently developed more than one character, their ups and downs, mistakes they made in the past, accusations, corruption and etc.. Overall, definitely a must read.
